Dr Luiz Avelar
MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, he became a Specialist Member of the Brazilian Plastic Surgery Society in the end of 1994 and a full member in 1999. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery. Forensic Anthropologist from the Police Department of the State of Minas Gerais, Dr. Avelar studies the "PHYSIOPATHOLOGY OF FACIAL AGING" and its implications in aesthetics, analyzing the bone remodelation on more than 500 skulls from his department. In 2014, he was the author of the book "ATLAS DE MEDICINA LEGAL" and has many publications at PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUTIVE SURGERY and JOURNAL OF DRUGS IN DERMATOLOGY about this subject.
As a Plastic Surgeon and a Forensic Anthropologist, he has a large knowledge and interest in anatomy, dissection and aesthetic procedures.
Dr Izolda Heydenrych
Izolda is Director and co-founder of the Cape Town Cosmetic Dermatology Centre and currently in full-time private practice. Before specializing in Dermatology, she obtained an Hons.B.Sc in Nuclear Medicine (University Stellenbosch) and Diploma in Anaesthetics (SA College of Medicine).
She is Immediate - President of the South African Society for Dermatological Surgery (SASDS), served on the Executive of the Dermatological Society of South Africa and is a founding/EXCO member of the African Womens' Dermatological Society (AWDS).
In 2018 she was awarded the SASDS Lifetime award for exceptional contribution to procedural dermatology .
Due to her passion for teaching, she holds an Honorary Consultant's position in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch where she pioneered formal aesthetic training for Dermatologists. At national level she has also instituted formal resident training (RATS) for South African Universities, the Short Courses in Cosmetic Dermatology and the Dermatology Aesthetic Review Meetings (DARM). Under her SASDS leadership Certifications in Topicals and Cosmeceuticals, Lasers and Sclerotherapy have been formalized
Izolda is actively involved the organization of educational events for the dermatology fraternity and aesthetic medicine in general and was Course Director for the Injectables for Africa Congress in 2017. She also heads HeyEdAcademy for Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine training (Toxin and Filler Technique, Cadaver Dissection Courses, Practice management , Basic Business skills and Neuro-leadership, Clinical Photography, Dermatology for the non-Dermatolgist, Presentation Skills etc)
Izolda has a keen interest in Complication Prevention in the field of Injectables and international Publications during the past 2 years include:

- Izolda is an international KOL for Allergan, SKinCeuticals, L'Oreal and LaRoche Posay and lectures extensively at both local and international level.
During the past year she has been invited key note speaker for the ISD in Philipines, Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons in Brisbane, Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatology in Melbourne ,London Toxin Summit, Berlin MD Codes Summit , Hong Kong Faculty Summit, Taiwan Faculty Summit, Singapore Faculty Summit ,Toronto , Vancouver Toxin Summit , Delhi Faculty Summit , Moscow Toxin Summit , IMCAS Paris and AMWC Monte Carlo.
She has been elected to FLAME (Female Leaders in Aesthetic Medicine) and is one dr Mauricio de Maio's 7 International Experts for MD Codes Training .
She holds 3 Licenciates in solo piano and chamber music and other hobbies include cooking and ceramic sculpting.
She is married to dentist and has 2 sons.
Mr Jeff Downie
Mr Jeff Downie is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon/Facial Aesthetic Surgeon for the West of Scotland Service. He is also Honorary Senior Lecturer at Glasgow University.
Mr Downie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1991 with distinctions in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Following that, he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Dundee in 1997.
He has also been awarded Fellowships in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons London, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow in 2000, 2005 and 2007 respectively. In addition, he has received many distinction awards in areas such as Anatomy, Prosthetics and Radiology.
His special interests lie in facial aesthetic, surgical management of skin cancer, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. In his private practice his interests include all aspect of facial aesthetic surgery especially rhitidectomy (face lifts), facial rejuvenation and the use of fillers and botulinum toxins to name a few.
Mr Downie is a member of a variety of organizations including the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons. He is widely published and has presented in many international meetings as well as involved in the creation and facilitation of many training courses.
Dr Gabriella Casabona
Dr Gabriela Casabona is a dermatologist practicing in Spain. She has dedicated the first 10 years of her career to mastering cosmetic rejuvenation of both the face and body.
She then traveled to the USA to serve a variety of externships with experts in various procedures and technologies. Dr Casabona had spent a great deal of her time as a collaborator in the Laser department of Universidade ABC- Brazil.
Since 2010, Dr Casabona shifted her career to more the surgical side. She spent much of the last 5 years in many training programs in the USA, Latin America and Europe furthering her expertise in skin cancer surgery, Mohs surgery, and honing her reconstruction skills (especially oculoplastics). She is also trained in cosmetic surgery including, fat grafting, endoscopic browlifting and blepharoplasty.
For 15 Years Dr Casabona has built her own clinic where 85% of her patients are cosmetic, mainly fillers, botulinum toxin combined with technology treatments and the newest generation of thread lifting procedures. The other 15% are surgical patients (cosmetic and oncology).
Dr Casabona is presently an International Speaker for Allergan Medical, Merz Medical, and also Medical consultant and Speaker for Mesoestetic Spain.
Dr Neave Corduff
Dr Niamh Corduff MB BS FRACS is the clinical director of the Cosmetic Revitalisation Clinic, Geelong and has been practicing as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon in private practice for 25 years.
She qualified from Charing Cross Medical School, the University of London, in 1984. She subsequently did her basic surgical training in the UK before emigrating to Australia in 1988. Niamh then completed her Plastic Surgery training in Australia in 1993 obtaining the FRACS. Since then she based her surgical practice in Geelong, Victoria with special interests in breast surgery and non surgical revitalisation.

In 2004 Niamh became aware in her patients a need to provide non-surgical options for those who were seeking improvement in their facial appearance but did not want surgical intervention. She opened the Cosmetic Refinement Clinic, one of the first non-surgical clinics in Victoria and the first in Geelong. Her principle approach has always been a conservative one; not focusing on youthful features but helping her patients look healthy and well for their age. She applies her surgical anatomical knowledge to achieve natural looking outcomes.
Niamh enjoys educating others and is an international speaker at various educational forums, seminars and conferences for doctors and other health professionals presenting on cosmetic injectables. She writes academic papers and has contributed to surgical text books. In 2015 Niamh was appointed as a consultant to Merz. She lectures and trains internationally on their behalf.
Niamh also is a member of the Medical Advisory Board to Establishment Labs, the manufacturer of Motiva implants.
Dr Mary Dingley
MB, BS. (Qld), FFMACCS, FCPCA. Diploma of Laser Medicine Cosmetic and Dermatological (ACCS)
Dr Mary Dingley has been a cosmetic medicine practitioner since 1987. She received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Queensland in 1984.
Since then she has pioneered the use of proven new techniques and developed training programmes for other doctors interested in using these systems appropriately, while always maintaining a commitment to deliver a high standard of care for her patients.
Dr Dingley is a Fellow, and prior Board member of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia. She was the President of the pre-existing Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia in 2007 and 2008. She is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and was the Dean of its Faculty of Medicine for seven years.
Dr Dingley is an adviser to government bodies and a medical defence organisation on issues such as laser and energy-based devices, training and cosmetic medicine.
Dr Dingley is frequently invited to speak and demonstrate at conferences both in Australia and internationally, developing a reputation as an enthusiastic, entertaining and effective communicator and teacher as well as a highly reputable practitioner.
Dr Paul Rosser
Dr Paul Rosser is an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon working in Auckland at Auckland Eye and with a public hospital appointment in the Eye Department at Greenlane Hospital. He completed fellowship training in oculoplastics at Moorfields Eye Hospital from 1989-1991 and for the past 25 years has had a sub-specialty practice mainly involving eyelid surgery.
Since 2000 he has run a busy oculoplastic fellowship training program in Auckland for overseas ophthalmologists wishing to work in oculoplastic surgery. With the recent increase in interest in eyelid and mid-face rejuvenation his practice has developed a more cosmetic flavor, particularly with regard to upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery. With the advent of soft tissue fillers in the peri-ocular region he has championed the technique of injecting with cannulas and has represented Galderma in demonstrating this procedure.
Dr Rosser was a tutor for many years preparing the ophthalmology candidates in eyelid and orbital anatomy and will share some of the relevant aspects of this anatomy with respect to the use of soft tissue fillers in the region.
Dr Sarah Hart
Dr Sarah Hart graduated MBChB from Otago University in 1994. She has been practicing Cosmetic Medicine since 2002. After initial training in Psychiatry, she qualified as a member of the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine in 2006. She now serves on the NZSCM Executive and Education Board.
Dr Hart lectures on the use of dermal filler and botulinum toxin on the international stage and trains practitioners across the world in facial rejuvenation techniques. She has been an Allergan Advisory Board member since 2007 and enjoys sharing the benefits of Cosmetic Medicine with a wide audience as with her work on three seasons of the TV series "Ten Years Younger in Ten Days"

Dr Paul Nola
Paul Nola is a graduate of Auckland Medical School. He has a background in General Practice and founded Ponsonby Cosmetic Medical Clinic in 2002.
He is the Education Officer for NZSCM and an Allergan Trainer.
Dr Karen Po
Dr Karen Po graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1999. She is currently the Senior Aesthetic Physician at Beverly Wilshire Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr Po is very well-trained in aesthetic and adept at performing aesthetic procedures such as injectables with fillers and botulinum toxin and thread-lifts energy- based devices. Besides having a special interest in injectable treatments, she is also very passionate about teaching and sharing her experience and knowledge with her colleagues. Dr Po keeps abreast of the latest developments in the fast-evolving field of aesthetic medicine by actively attending international meetings in order to provide the best treatments for her patients.
Her interest in aesthetic medicine developed as a result of her desire to find the best possible treatment for her eldest daughter who had a facial birthmark at birth. In the process of seeking out the best treatment for her child, she discovered aesthetics as a field of medicine and developed a strong interest. She now considers it a blessing that she is able to marry her passion and profession. Dr Po believes that the best cosmetic outcomes is achieved using a combination of aesthetic treatments that works synergistically to achieve a natural and enhanced outlook. She finds immense satisfaction in making her patients look the best version of themselves regardless of age and feeling good about themselves, especially with the use of minimum products to create the maximum effect. She is recognized not only for her meticulous handiwork and providing a holistic treatment to her patients, but her patients also appreciate her for being actively involved in every step of the aesthetic transformation with them.
Dr Karen Po is an Advisory Board member as well as faculty member for Allergan and Galderma. In addition, she also trains actively locally and overseas for BOTOX®, Juvederm™, Restylane and Teosyal®.
